Futures point to mixed sentiment in Asian markets Tuesday after the energy speculation led to a decline in US stocks today.
Australian ASX 200 will open with a fall of 0.5% on 5211 levels, after it was closed on Monday due to a public holiday. Nikkei opens 29 points lower at 17410 levels.
Markets expect new stimulus from the camp of the BOJ later this week and the meeting of the FED, as market players will try to determine when they will be increased interest rates. Currently expected to increase in November.
Korea announced a 0.4% increase in GDP, which is below the expectation of 0.7%. This suggests slowdown.
It is likely that there is caution in the markets and see trading in a narrow range.
