Three positions with the highest portion in the portfolios of Mutual Fund"Varchev High Yeild Fund and MF"Varchev Balanced Fund" continue to be and to register higher yeild and higher prices, with that they take the lead spot and highest returns at the Bulgarian Stock Exchange
These are:
Central Cooperative Bank: CCB, for the last 4 months registered a return of 60%, taking the lead in the SOFIX index.
Shares of Chimimport (Химимпорт), which is included in Varchev's Funds are standing at 5% of the portfolio. This company is at the second place of Yield return at SOFIX index, as it has registered a 58% return for the last 4 months.
The newly founded ETF in Bulgaria - Expat Bulgaria SOFIX UCITS ETF(BGX), which is following the SOFIX is also included in the porfolio's of Varchev's Mutual funds, with positions of 9%
This ETF, which follows SOFIX index and its moves in Bulgaria, lowered one of the risks in the market - the low liquidity. The large gathered funds is leading to even higher levels of cash in the ETF and therefore the higher interest in buying stocks, which in turn is making the index in Bulgaria go higher. This is the reason for the last 2 months that we see big jump in the stock shares in Bulgaria and even higher expectations for 2017.
