UK online petition gathered over 17 million signatures demanding a revote of the referendum that took the country off the European Union.
The petitioners call on the government to "implement the rule that if voters staying or leaving less than 60% and if the turnout less than 75 percent must have a new referendum." The petition asked for 100,000 signatures, and far exceeds the number required to get official government response.
It is unclear, however, whether the participants are people who have voted in favor of Brexit and have changed their minds, or consists of voters who voted for "Stay" and whether people right out loud in the UK.
In the vote last Thursday had achieved a turnout of 72%, which is the highest reached in 20 years.
At the time there is an investigation how reliable part signatures by suspected hacker interference. 77,000 signatures were removed. The petition remains under surveillance for unusual activity.
