Mastercard has released its annual Global Destination Cities Index, which measures peaks and declines in travels to and within 162 cities around the world.
The ranking measures visitor volume and costs for future predictions of tourists' activity in 2018.
This year, Bangkok remains the top spot, as it was last year, which is unlikely to change in the future due to a good growth forecast of 9.6% this year.
Meanwhile, Dubai has emerged as one of the top spenders on the part of tourists. On average, a visitor spends about $ 537 a day in Dubai.
