US stock futures indicate a decline before the stock market session as investors are waiting for reports from a number of companies in the country, and most of those that have been published show a deterioration in financial results. SP500 traded down 0.54%, and Dow Jones, which yesterday closed over 23K, today trades at 0.59%. Nasdaq's futures are traded with the largest decline of -0.79%.
Here are the main moves of After Market-a yesterday and Premarket today:
- Unilever PLC - a decrease of 4.27% after weaker sales in the third quarter
- Apple Inc. - a decrease of 1.45%
- Fiat Chrysler Automobiles - a decrease of 3.43%
- eBay Inc. a decrease of 6.46%
- Adobe systems - up 6.76%
- Juno Therapeutic - 5.62%
- Blackstone Group - up to 1.30%
The European indexes have declined after the Spanish political turmoil continues. The central government has taken action to stop the autonomy of the Catalonia region after its leaders threatened to declare independence. Spain's IBEX 35 dropped 80 points or 0.78%, while in Germany the DAX also fell by 80 or 0.62%, while in France the CAC 40 fell by 27 or 0.53%.
We expect the negativity in Europe and worse US financial performance to continue to negatively affect the indices and during the US session.
