A former accountant has "thrown the fly" at the US Financial Supervisory Committee on Disney's bad accounting practices.
She was a senior employee and worked for the company for 18 years. She claims that the company artificially inflated the revenues from the children's parks and resorts business by operating an accounting program.
Disney said "the allegations are completely insane."
Kuba - a former employee is quoted as saying that bookkeepers sometimes attributed revenue twice to gift cards - when guests purchased the card and used it in the resort.
She also raised the issue earlier in 2013, issuing a warning again in 2016. In 2017, she contacted the SEC and was fired a month later.
