Agriculture - Wheat falls to a 10-month low

US wheat futures fell on Tuesday and increased their 2-day losses to 5%, as demand for North American exports hit prices down to a 10-month low.

Wheat is under pressure from sales due to technical analysis and concerns about the large global competition in the export markets.

On Monday, the US Department of Agriculture said last week that 693,964 tonnes of wheat in the US were inspected for exports above market expectations. But seasonal inspections are about 1.4 million tonnes a year ago.
