Amazon is expected to show higher profits after the second quarter report, backed by continued growth in its business with a higher margin.
Amazon's Wall Street estimates for second quarter earnings are $ 2.50 per share or approximately $ 1.2 billion, compared to 40 cents per share reported a year ago.
This will be almost six times higher than the previous year, and for the third consecutive quarter will surpass $ 1 billion.
