Wednesday evening, the UK Parliament rejected the Brexit no-deal plan, with a slight difference, but then Parliament adopted the amendment that allows Brexit no-deal to be the final option if nothing else happens ... Even more confusing, is not it?
Tonight, again at around 20:00 Bulgarian time, parliament enters a voting session on whether Point 50 should be extended by the end of June. Expectations are that the vote will be adopted and that it will be appreciated. However, the risk lies in whether the EU will approve the extension. Expectations are that if this does not happen UK can go without a deal, call extraordinary elections or call a second referendum.
The order of voting will be as follows:
If amendment H passes (the correction for the second referendum), Amendments I and E will follow for vote. Amendment I aims to pave the way for a new vote of the Brexit options. If I pass, Amendment E will be dropped for voting (aiming for more time to find the right path to Brexit). Amendment J decides whether Parliament will vote for a third consecutive time on May's overall proposal. The rule aims to vote against all the corrections. The Labour support E, I and J, while remaining absent for H.
The ERG is expected to vote against all amendments.
