The Japanese site for crypto trading, BitPoint, has been hacked. The amount that has been withdrawn amounts to $ 32 million in the form of five different cryptocurrencies- Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple. $ 23 million are users of the site, and the remaining amount was owned by BitPoint.
Prior to the announcement of the news, the site has forbidden the withdrawal and filing of Fiat and cryptocurrencies. The site has also terminated the BitPoint MT4, API and Smart API services, the Store, the BitPoint wallet, and the BitPoint LTE applications.
The site has not yet revealed when it intends to restore the normal functioning of the services. In their last announcement, they also reassure consumers that they are working hard to look for the cause and source of the attack, as well as a way to minimize damage.
