Tesla Inc. short sellers are buckling up for a bumpy ride. With shares tumbling this week to their lowest in more than a year amid safety concerns and skepticism over its Model 3 production, some investors are betting that the automaker’s slump is here to stay. Short interest as a percent of free float rose to the highest since May 2017 ahead of next week’s expected release of first-quarter production and delivery figures.
