Asia markets remain on focus

Asian equities faced headwinds from the close of yesterday's US session where weak consumer confidence, impeachment concerns around President Trump, and President Trump speaking in a hard line tone about China and Iran. The ASX is -0.34%, Nikkei -0.39%, Nikkei -0.41%, Hang Seng -0.95%,. and the Shanghai Composite -0.57%.

apan's 10yr bonds were higher amid the negative risk tone as the pressure on yields resumed with the 10yr yield below -0.25% and the 5yr yield touching a record low.

Risk is fragile and we will see if this sentiment flows through to the European open
