Shares in Asia are being traded cautiously today, following the rally of the previous day, as new concerns emerged over the US-China partial trade deal.
In South Korea, Kospi is up 0.15%. Japan's Nikkei 225 jumped 1.76% and Topix added 1.73% after markets in Japan closed on a national holiday on Monday.
Chinese markets fell in the early hours of the session. Shanghai composite lost 0.4%, Shenzhen composite lost 0.6%.
China's pork prices jumped 69% year-on-year in September due to the growing shortage of meat caused by African swine fever. Overall, the consumer price index rose 3% over the past month, while the producer price index fell 1.2%
In Australia, the ASX 200 traded small increases with small losses, but overall it did not differ from the previous day. The financial sub-index pushed its losses up 0.13%, while the energy index lost 0.9%.
