Nikkei 225 futures in the New York are priced at 16.635 and Osaka priced at 16.620, both are above the last closing price of 16.466.
In Australia, the ASX200 futures are priced at 5,393 since last closing price of 5358.
The increase in oil prices will support commodity currencies such as NZD, AUD and CAD.
Increase in index prices will have a negative impact on the JPY.
Although short-term growth of the US dollar, the dollar index still has not broken through resistance and remains under pressure.
