Shares in Asia have seen major increases, most notably since the release of RBA Minutes in August. The PBOC also announces updated lending rates under a new lending facility.
Major Chinese stocks recorded gains, with the Shanghai Composite recording partial gains. Shenzhen Component rose 0.28% and Shenzhen Composite added 0.442% to its value.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 rose 0.36%, Topix 0.52%, and the Australian ASX200 rose 0.64%, with more of the sectors green. In South Korea, Kospi rose 0.17%.
In Hong Kong, however, Hang Seng was down 0.17%, with sales led by shares of life insurance company AIA, down 1.15%.
MSCI Asia ex - Japan index increased 0.13%.
