The markets in Asia will open higher, as we expect that investors will continue to seek out the riskier financial instruments to invest and trade. Dow Jones closed at a record high at 21,840 points during the last session on Friday. The news from North Korea is that now the country has a missile that can reached the US shores and the answer of the US was that planes flew over N. Korea.
Investors expect financial results from the banking sector in Japan and Manufacturing PMI from China, as it is expected that data will be positive from China. If the data is better than expected this will support the indices and the riskier currencies like the Aussie and the NZD. But if data is worst than expected, we might see lower Aussie and NZD and stronger JPY.
Price of Oil opened higher this evening, as it reached $50 per barrel and this is likely to support the Asian indices overnight. Gold remains at $1,270, after its latest rise last week. The USD remains weak, as the USD/JPY fell and now is at support zone around 110.600. If the JPY rises during the night we might see a break below that level, which will open the door to much lower level for the pair in the future.
Nikkei will open higher around 19,977, ASX 200 will open higher around 5,725
