The American indices closed at the same levels as they opened, but the futures are trading higher already. The Asian markets are expected to open slightly higher, but we might see lower prices later on during the session.
If we are to look at the Oil prices and to be a guide for the next move of the indices, we can see that the Oil price are bound to go higher from here fundamentally supported by the actions of OPEC, and higher Oil prices will translate into higher prices for the indices.
The US dollar continue to be very strong and fundamentally supported as well. The indices and the US dollar have moved in the same direction, since the US Presidential election, this may not be the case for much longer and either the indices or the US dollar should reverse its course. If we expect higher rates from the FED, then logically for us to see lower prices for the stocks and indices and higher USD.
Nikkei to open higher around 19,438, and ASX 200 to open higher around 5,654
