Asia's red after the renewed uncertainty surrounding Brexit and the Commerce War

Shares in the Asian trading session declined after investors were concerned about the uncertainty surrounding the UK's exit talks and the tense US-China relationship.

The main Chinese markets remained in focus for investors who registered declines. Shanghai Composite fell 0.75% and Shenzhen Composite declined by 1.4%. The Hang Seng Index also lost about 0.42% of its value.

There is a continuing tension between Trump and Xi before their G20 meeting next week.

In South Korea, Kospi posted a 0.65% decline, with the Samsung Electronics shares, which lost 0.7% and the SK Hynix chip maker lost 1.15%.

In Australia, the ASX 200 benchmark continued its series up, increasing by 0.36%. For the Japanese markets today is announced a day off.

In the FX markets, the US dollar index saw a drop to 96,483 from yesterday's levels of about 96.7. The Japanese yen ended at higher levels against the USD. The Australian dollar traded at higher levels of about $ 0.7250 from its bottom to $ 0.724.
