Bill Ackman's Pershing Square added a big chunk of Mondelez International to its portfolio and left the rest of its positions unchanged, according to a filing with the Securites and Exchange Commission late Monday.
Pershing Square started a new position of just under 43.4 million shares of Mondelez, about 2.7% of shares outstanding, in the quarter ended Sept. 30.
Other large positions such as those in Valeant Pharmaceuticals International and Zoetis remained unchanged from the previous quarter.
Mondelez shares rose 0.2% to $44.16.
