Bakkt's crypto trading platform is now actively offering Bitcoin futures trading.
The long-awaited platform launched last month, with new alternatives to the products being offered. In their latest announcement, the company announced the launch of a new product - Bakkt Options contract. The product was developed in conjunction with customer feedback and will be based on the Bakkt Monthly Bitcoin Futures contract. It is one of the products currently being developed for the regulated market and is being introduced as part of the platform's plan to develop different asset classes for investors.
The goal is to diversify products to maximize the benefits of hedging, profit from Bitcoin exposures, generate revenue and offer capital efficiency.
CME Group is also aiming to launch options on Bitcoin in early 2020.
