Bill Gross, who has long urged the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates, said Wednesday that the central bankers of the United States may have missed the opportunity to raise interest rates earlier this year and now that it would lead to "self-harm" the economy.
In its September report on the investment outlook, Gross writes that his concept of neutral interest rate of 2 percent "can no longer be moved without the specter of the market and it is possible to reach financial instability."
