Since the last BoE meeting we've heard hawkish comments from both Governor Carney and Chief Economist Haldane.
The most recent MPC meeting was held on June 15 with an unexpectedly more hawkish 3-5 vote split in favour of leaving rates on hold.
After that meeting, on June 26, Carney said that "some removal of monetary stimulus is likely to become necessary".
A few days earlier, on June 21, Haldane - who is considered a dove - turned hawkish stating:
"the balance of risks associated with tightening "too early"
He went on to say that it would be prudent to partially remove stimulus "relatively soon".
