The future of Britain is more precarious than ever, as the Brexit talks do not bring any compromise before the important decisions that need to be made.
Meanwhile, on the continent, all eyes are on the EU leaders who will meet on Wednesday and have to decide whether to give the UK more time to leave or not.
Last week, Prime Minister Theresa May requested an extension of Brexit until June 30, but there are strong signs of disagreement in Europe to allow more time for Britain; France, in particular, is not keen. The U.K. is due to leave the EU on April 12 if the EU does not grant the country an extension to Brexit.
The majority of UK lawmakers three times rejected the deal with Brexit, while rejecting Brexit without a deal and no consensus on alternative options. Now May has resorted to talks with his political rival, Jeremy Corbyn, to find a way out of the deadlock Brexit.
So far, however, the negotiations have not reached any agreement and are expected to continue on Monday.
In the current situation, if the EU refuses to grant the UK an extension to June 30 (or to propose a longer extension), the UK could face a serious choice on Friday, April 12 - to leave the EU without a deal or to cancel the entire exit process known as Article 50.
EU Council President Donald Tusk proposed a one-year extension to Brexit, but French President Emmanuel Macron said there should be severe conditions imposed on the UK if granted this delay.
For Brexit this week will be the most important.
