Charlie Munger, investor-billionaire and vice president of Berkshire Hathaway, again criticizes bitcoin.
Munger - who was invited to an event of an unnamed investment group for digital currencies but did not attend - said bitcoin investors "celebrate the life and work of Judas Iscariot."
Mungar then reaffirmed his negative stance on cryptocurrencies. Last February, he described the leading cryptocurrency as "extremely foolish" at the annual meeting of the Daily Journal Corporation. He then said:
“And I think the people who are professional traders that go into trading cryptocurrencies, it is just disgusting. It is like somebody else is trading turds and you decide, 'I can't be left out.'"
Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett, who is also well-known for his negative attitude to cryptos, has once again highlighted the lack of real use and value.
