Asian markets once again had difficulty finding a unified direction. The reason today was the law in support of the protesters in Hong Kong, which Trump finally finalized.
Main markets in China closed the generated growth early in the session after the news. Shanghai Composite dropped 0.31%, Shenzhen Component slightly lower. The Shenzhen Composite remained virtually unchanged.
Alibaba's Hong Kong-listed shares continue to attract investor interest, adding 3.16% to its value today. However, the Hang Seng index remained in the red territory.
The Nikkei225 remained unchanged and Topix was down 0.15%.
Kospi also decreased, but 0.21%.
ASX200 was up 0.15%.
