The investment appetite for gold seems to be reviving. According to CFTC data, the open interest rate has increased most since June. According to Citigroup analysts, investors are increasingly turning to gold as a hedging instrument, despite the rise in stock markets. The impression is that over the past few weeks, although stock markets have peaked, the precious metal remains static at the bottom of the upward channel it has formed since the beginning of the year. This also supports gold, clearly indicating that investors consider the current stock growth to be economically unreasonable and prefer to hedge some of their portfolios.
