Charles Kirk, highlights why courage and confidence are of such importance to trade and explains that the ability of the merchant to be brave is one of the most important things I can learn, not only in terms of markets, but in any aspect of life in general.

"There is only one requirement of each of us and that is to be brave. Because courage, as you may know, defines every human behavior.

The question now is: how does one learn to have more confidence, both in life and on the markets?
It is not enough to pretend to be developing a habit to be very brave to neshta.Edin way they trained to be brave are the army, police or firefighter, for example - consistently put you in situations where there may be a threat. You see, the fear never goes away completely, it will always be there and courage is simply a way for preodoleyavane.

Lack of courage to admit mistakes you make, the lack of courage to stick to your investment plan when the results are disappointing lack of courage to buy when others are starting position, lack the courage to sell, as everyone buys absence courage to refrain from prosecuting the market and missing out fear, lack of courage to make your own trading strategies, rather than what is popular.

If you lack confidence, you will never be truly successful in the markets. Everything you do on the markets will require a tremendous amount of courage. Your ability to be brave will be one of the most important things I've learned. Not only in your relationship with the markets but also in any part of your life.

Charles Kirk, a longtime market analyst and trader on Wall Street
