The champion Terence Crawford continues to solidify himself as one of the pound-for-pound best fighters in the world.
On Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, Crawford hammered Felix Diaz for 10 rounds before the latter's trainer Joel Diaz stepped in to call a halt to the slaughter. This brought Crawford a victory.
Diaz had a few shining moments early in the fight, but Crawford quickly adjusted as has become his staple, and he dished out punishment to the former Olympian for the rest of the bout. After a particularly lopsided 10th round, Diaz's corner quickly waived off the remainder of the fight as their battered and swollen fighter made his way to the corner.
