The Spanish football megastar Cristiano Ronaldo opened his own hotel in Lisbon.
The 4 star resort "Pestana CR7 Lisboa" in the Portuguese capital has 82 rooms and one luxury apartment, with installed 48-inch flat screen TV and free internet.
The price for bed and breakfast in an ordinary double room with a size of 18 square meters starts from €250 while the luxury deluxe double rooms which are 21 and 26 square meters cost between 375 and 425 euros. A night at the appartment starts form 1250 euros per night..
Ronaldo is cooperating with the Portuguese hotelier group "Pestana" and the investment in the new hotel is esteemed around 15 million euros.
The player already has a hotel in the capital of Madeira - Funchal, where he was born.
"Life is not only football. Yes, football is my passion, but you have to think about the future. My life is linked to Lisbon, where I spent seven years. So I could not miss the opportunity to find a hotel in this city," says Ronaldo.
