Seven consecutive winning days for Topix have sent the index to the summit since 2007. Risk appetite remains high, and given the improving global economy, most market participants believe that growth will continue. Some technical indicators, however, signal that the rally may be over. 14 - Periodic RSI is over 80 or 10 units higher than the area where investors believe the market is overpriced. On the other hand, the Toraku index, which is thought to be the impulse barometer, has risen to 139, far from level 120 where Topix is believed to have fallen.
