Tesla's founder and CEO, Elon Musk, will face suing charges at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
In its action, the Commission alleges that Musk deliberately made "false and misleading" statements by failing to inform regulators in due time of the material events surrounding the company's future.
Earlier, in August, Musk announced on Twitter that it is considering removing Tesla from trading on the stock exchange, adding the attraction for investors "funding is secured."
Later, Musk explained that he is negotiating with Saudi Arabia's public investment fund to fund the dropout. Musk was convinced he would be able to arrange funding for Tesla's dropout from the stock exchange at a price of $ 420 per share.
Although later Musk dropped his intentions against Tesla, a number of institutions have launched an investigation against him, including the SEC.
