Investor sentiment toward euro-area stocks and the region’s currency largely ran in parallel this year - until this month. While derivatives traders have gotten slightly less bearish on the euro, they’ve
grown more pessimistic on the Euro Stoxx 50 Index, according to the relative cost of three- month options for both.
The equity measure has dropped 2.8 percent from a high in May, led by a plunge in lenders such as Societe Generale SA and Deutsche Bank AG.
