The European economy is strong enough to withstand the turmoil in the Chinese market, said Commissioner of Finance of the EU Pierre Moscovici. "I'm not worried, especially as monetary authorities in China and elsewhere oppose the storm or said they will do so," said Mr Moscovici to the Frankish iTELE.
"My feeling is that today ... European economies are able to withstand what is happening in the Chinese market. The foundations of the recovery in Europe and in France are hard enough."
