European equities are expected to open flat to lower on Friday despite China market volatility.
Traders were keeping a close eye on Chinese stocks . Asian markets traded mixed Friday after swinging between gains and losses following the early volatility in Chinese markets.The Shanghai Composite was up. Japan's Nikkei 225 was flat in late afternoon trade, while Korea's Kospi added 0.45 percent. In New Zealand, the main index closed down 0.89 percent. The big market casualty is China regulators' reputation. The wobbles in China that rocked financial markets this week have not only cast doubts over the economy, they've also shaken confidence in policymakers' ability to stem the volatility.
