European markets are expected to open slightly higher from levels close yesterday as the yen rose in Asian hours and indexes performed hesitantly.
Germany's DAX will open at 11 792 price of a 1 point increase, the French CAC will open at 4935 price by 3 points higher and London FTSE priced 7293 after deduction of dividend on the cash index.
Today, investors will turn their attention to the report of the meeting of the ECB in January, which will lead to some caution and possible minor adjustments to the equity markets.
Today reports expect from Nestle, Drax and Air France-KLM. The economic calendar will focus on data on Building Permits from the US and Industrial index FED Philadelphia at 15:30. At 14:30 is the statement of ECB when there will be increased volatility in the euro crosses. The single currency remains under pressure even though the economic indicators in Europe show improvement as political risks remain.
