European stocks headed for the longest winning streak in almost a month as gains in mining shares lifted the Stoxx Europe 600 Index to a two-year high.
A gauge of commodity producers was poised for its highest level since February 2013, boosted by a surge in nickel prices amid bullish forecasts for the metal.
The commodity led a surge in industrial-metal prices after Trafigura Group Pte joined Glencore Plc in revealing bullish forecasts because of the popularity of electric cars.
