The euro has surged by more than 15 percent over the past year against its U.S. counterpart, reaching levels unseen since December 2014. The common currency is now on the cusp of its 200-month moving average and could well face resistance there. Traders will be watching closely to see whether European Central Bank President Mario Draghi’s press conference on Thursday clears a path for a push above that level.
