Facebook has revealed, that in September the company has committed a hacker attack that has probably reached millions of phone numbers and email addresses.
Attack has provided access to names and contact details (phone number, email, or both) at 15ml. accounts. For other 14m. the user is aware that the attack has exported information about username, gender, language, connection status, religion, hometown, home, birthday, types of devices used to access Facebook, education, work, the last 10 places of which people have noted the pages that follow. The last 15 searches on Facebook are also revealed, and for 1 million people, the attackers have no access to any information.
