Bitcoin is flat on the day as it erases a painful slide.
It's an impressive 18% bounce from the lows but Bitcoin is still down 22% on the week.
My advice, if you want to trade crypto, is that there are two trades: The first is to go long or short for the long haul. I wouldn't recommend that for your health but if you're right, the returns might be worth it. The second is to go with the momentum; everything is about a six-hour trade right now as periods of panic and relief hit the market.
Where next?
Technically, it's a negative picture. An old saying is that a bear market takes the escalator down and occasionally the elevator back up. If you look at the past month, it's been a steady slide punctuated by the occasional quick rebound higher.
