A suit is a suit, is not it?
Wrong!
Whether for the office, the wedding, the body or the mood, every man needs to know how to choose the right suit.
From stitching, patches and fabric, there's certainly a suit waiting for you. The bad thing is that it can take a lot of effort while you find it. So when you try a suit look for the following details:
Shoulder: If your shoulder does not fit the suit on the first sample, try another, actually a tailor can hardly handle the size adjustment.
Length of the jacket: An easy way to find out whether the jacket is the right length is by putting it on to stretch your arms around your body and the bottom of the jacket should be at the level of the knuckle of your thumbs. You can try and stretch your arms forward and shrinking to the body should shrink your arms normally and have no tension.
Sleeves: The sleeves of the jacket should rest exactly where the thumb stops and the wrist starts.
Buttons: The two-button jacket is the most popular choice when choosing a suit. Be sure to keep the upper button fastened and the bottom unlocked. The three-button jacket looks tighter and one is a much freer-style.
Trousers: There is no style defined for the proper length of the trousers. It all depends on how much you want the trousers to fall to your shoes and whether to have a distance. It is advisable not to have a distance between the beginning of the shoe and the edge of the rim itself as this is the purest look. This means the trousers end just where the ankle starts, dropping gently on the shoe. The looser mode allows for a shortened trouser length above the shoe.
