Henry Ford produced the company’s first truck -- the Model TT -- 100 years ago today. His successors are undoubtedly glad he did. Trucks, which now include SUVs and crossovers, accounted for 77 percent of the automaker’s U.S. light-vehicle sales last month, up from 63 percent just three years ago. Ford’snew CEO hopes to capture more of that lucrative market through model overhauls of the Expedition and Lincoln Navigator this year and the return of the Ranger pickup in 2018 and Bronco SUV in 2020.
