European markets are expected to open lower today following declines from the Asian hours.
German DAX is expected to open at 11623 with 39 points decline, the French CAC 17 points lower at 4779 and London FTSE at 7092 by 27 points decrease.
Today at 14:00 GMT+2 we expect the BoE interest rates decision, which would be a prerequisite for caution and more declines in the stock markets. It is likely BoE to keep rates at current 0.25 percent. At 14:15 we expect statement from Mario Draghi and at 14:30 Mark Carney statement, which will likely lead to increased volatility.
Today earnings reports are expect from Nokia, Dong, Daimler, Nordo, Avanti Commuications, Johnson Mathey, Compass, Vodafone, Shell, Zoopla, AstraZeneca and Glencore. Today we will also get attention to the possible acquisition of Mead Johnson worth 16.7 billion from Reckitt Benckiser.
