Gold prices rise slightly in Asia on Friday, with attention directed to the data over the weekend for China and the meeting of the Federal Reserve next week
On the Comex gold for December delivery rose 0.10% to $ 1,110.40 an ounce.
Silver for delivery in the same month rose 0.24 percent to $ 14.680.
Copper for December delivery fell 0.301 percent to $ 2.446 a pound.
Gold will probably finish the week at around $ 1,111 an ounce. The price, which will open the precious metal markets next week will be determined by the data on the Chinese economy on Sunday. China is the second most = major consumer of gold in the world if the news of the Celestial Empire is optimistic as the yellow metal to rise.
