Shares are the place to invest in 2019, according to Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Goldman is of the opinion that emerging economies will be in the spotlight, even if the world economy is going to slow slightly in 2019. In the US, the bank believes the economy remains attractive, but the short-term profit prospects are significant reduced.
Goldman Sachs' optimism in emerging markets coincides with that of other large fund managers. A Bank of America survey shows that the outlook for emerging market shares is currently the highest for the past 10 years.
If, in terms of return on assets in 2019, there are differences between some Wall Street leaders, they are all convinced that volatility will remain and dominate over all markets.
