The major Chinese markets ended with the Asian session boosted. Over the weekend, news was circulated, making it clear that the US and China were apparently close to finalizing the first phase of the deal.
Shanghai Composite increased by 0.55%, Shenzhen Composite by 1%. The Hang Seng Index jumped 0.62%.
Elsewhere, in Australia the ASX200 rose 0.14%. The mining sector led the rally in the Australian sector with the strongest remaining: Rio Tinto with 1% jump, Fortescue Metals with 1.93% and BHP Billiton with 1.20%.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 increased its value by 0.23%, Kospi by 0.32%.
Markets in Singapore, India, Malaysia and New Zealand are closed for holidays.
MSCI Asia-Pacific ex-Japan broad index rose 0.14%.
The US dollar registers minimal increases, the Japanese yen remains strong, and the Australian dollar,
Oil prices started lowering the new week, with BRENT down 0.22% and WTI down 0.50%.
