Greek shares rise in today's session of the Athens Stock Exchange, as profits were mainly of shares in banking, healthcare and financial sectors.
At the end of today's session, Athens General-Composite rose 2.03%.
The best performing shares on the Athens General-Composite are Alpha Bank (AT: ACBr), which rose 12.98% or 0,037 points. At the same time, Attica Bank (AT: BOAr)) added 7.69% or 0.005 points and Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT: EURBr) rose by 6.67% or 0,009 points to 0,144 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lykos Inform. (AT: LYKr), which fell by 9.26% or 0.06 points. Euro Reliance (AT: EREr) declined 7.36 percent or 0.12 points to 1.51 and Athens Water (AT: EYDr) fell by 3.15% or 0.19 points to 5.84.
Rising shares numerically outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 43 to 28 and 5 ended unchanged.
Gold for August delivery fell 0.05% or 0.60 to $ 1,171.20 an ounce. Elsewhere in trading commodities, crude oil for delivery in August, a decrease of 1.22% or 0.73 to hit $ 58.97 a barrel, while Brent futures for August oil fell by 0.93% or 0.58 to trade at $ 62.62 for barrel.
EUR / USD fell 0.53% to 1.1143, while EUR / GBP down 0.42% to 0.7081.
US dollar index was increased to 0.43% at 95.77.
