Senior Economist describes it as realistic. But German Finance Minister is known for aggressive attitude towards Greece. And Wolfgang Schäuble still has questions. His ministry wants more information about the privatization plans, debt sustainability, and perhaps most notably, the role of the International Monetary Fund. Minister, understandably, will support a deal only if it is supported by the IMF.
Several European parliaments - including the German Bundestag - must approve any bailout for Greece. Angela Merkel already faces a rebellion in his own country. Some of her conservatives openly refuse to vote in favor of the third transaction.
