The Fog of War looms over Twitter and the media. There has been a lot of fake news about the first attacks, but there is already enough confirmed news from CNN, FOX, BBC, Reuters, Bloomberg and others to convince us of what's really going on.
Most worrying is that the Iranian National Guard claims that they are behind the attack. At best, it could be separatist military organizations trying to simply create chaos. But from an American point of view, that would hardly matter. Trump must now certainly respond appropriately to the attack, especially if there are casualties.
If there is going to be a war (and at this stage it looks like you are a war), we have yet to see the effects on the world markets. For gold and oil this is a sure buy, but for stocks - hard times await them. On the FX front, the Japanese yen and franc will be the ones that will attract buyers.
