The index VIX has a slight increase but there is nothing to indicate that fear has increased and its persistent feature in the market place. Possibly the small rise is due to the geo political uncertainties in Europe and the risks from the upcoming elections in France, Germany and Holland. Also partly due to the record levels of the indices and stock prices in the USA. Investors are still positive on the US economy and the changes that the President has promised to make, but the details about those plans are scars and it will take long time before any plans become actual fact and the economy will see any benefits.
Looking at the VIX, nothing indicates that large correction is coming.
