Forthcoming presidential elections in France after two months, and far-right candidate Marine Le Pen, in opinion polls, has already put investors on edge.
Although the current pre-election polls suggested that Ms. Le Pen is unlikely to win the presidency, its proposal to pull France out of the European currency has still sent investors running for cover.
